How to get to our cottage (detailed) :
- Head North on Hwy #15. Reset your odometer as you cross over the 401. 31.5 km later (and 1 km past Hwy #32 to Gananoque), turn right onto County Rd #33 towards Lyndhurst.
- 8 km later, cross over the old, single-lane stone bridge and locate the payphone about 20 yds ahead on the left.
- Call 928-3154 and thrill the boat captain with news of your imminent arrival.
- Carry on another 5 km until you reach Hicock Road. You may see little "ZAMFIR" signs pointing the way (if not don't panic). Turn left.
- 1 km later, turn left towards Delta.
- 2 km later, you have entered Delta and you turn left onto a dead end street called "Mill Creek Drive".
- Drive past entrance to Fair Grounds. Park to the side of turnaround area. Go to slip marked 103.
- Take your gear and yourselves down to the dock. We've dug a boat slip into our little piece of land along the creek (look for the 103 sign). It has lots of rocks around it. The pontoon boat should be pulling up at this point. The boat will whisk you away on a 10 minute ride to the island. Relax and enjoy.
